The last journey doesn't send a warning. It arrives without asking. Without preparation. Sometimes... it doesn't even give you a chance to say goodbye. You leave without an "I love you," Without a "Forgive me," Without that last, unspoken embrace. We spend our days obsessed with plans— Vacations, career goals, shopping lists, errands to run…But we rarely think about that other trip. The one that comes like a thief in the night, Grabs you by the hand—and takes you away. It doesn’t matter if you’re ready, If you’re wide awake or fast asleep, If you’re terrified, Or if you still have so much left to say. And it hurts. It hurts so much it’s hard to draw a breath. Because only then do we realize that we can't take anything with us. Not our things, not our titles... only the love we gave. Only the memories we left behind in the hearts of others. Sometimes we walk out the door in a rage, Slamming it behind us... Never thinking that it might be our very last "goodbye." Seeing so many people …More
Leo XIV sent a video message to those gathered at DePaul University in the U.S. to mark the 15th anniversary of the abolition of the death penalty in the State of Illinois. He stressed that the Church continues to affirm “that the dignity of the person is not lost even after very serious crimes are committed.” In The City of God, Augustine of Hippo argues that legitimate public authority acting under just law may order death.

04/25/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. As I sat on the terrace this morning drinking my coffee and enjoying the sight of the blooming chestnut trees, the birdsong and the buds on the trees reminded me of my childhood. I didn’t drink coffee as a child, but everything else was already part of my life. There were also May beetles… This pleasant atmosphere would surely have lasted much longer had I not looked up at the sky. To the conspiracy theorists who believe in contrails, I assure you that passenger planes do indeed fly in this area of Vienna. They always fly in one direction toward the airport and never leave contrails, as they are in the landing phase, during which the plane reduces its speed and altitude. These contrails were not left by any commercial aircraft. The flight paths of planes departing from Vienna pass over different parts of the city depending on their destination. Wikipedia • Chemtrails are said to be a specific type of contrail that, according to related …
The appeal of the Old Liturgy for young people lies in its focus and orientation on God, not on the community. We have so many rites in the Catholic Church. We should accept them for what they are: mere rites. We must infuse every rite with love and devotion; otherwise, it misses its mark. The Old and New Rites, as such, have nothing to do with whether we recognize the Council or not, or how we deal with its texts or reforms.
enya’s Court of Appeal ruled that abortion is not a constitutional right and is only legal in limited situations, such as when the mother’s life or health is at risk or in emergencies. The court said Kenya’s constitution protects life from conception and generally prohibits abortion except for those narrow exceptions. The ruling reverses a 2022 High Court decision that had broadened abortion access and restores criminal proceedings against an abortion provider in a 2019 case involving complications after a teen’s abortion. Supporters of abortion rights criticized the decision and plan to appeal to the Supreme Court, while pro-life groups and many Christians in Kenya praised it as protecting unborn life. Kenya remains socially conservative on abortion despite limited legal exceptions.
BREAKING: Kenya's Court of Appeal rules that abortion violates the child's right to life and overturns the decision of a rogue judge who had tried to legalise abortion! This is a HUGE win in one of Africa's biggest legal cases ever.
'May all hallow your Name, so that your Kingdom may come, and your Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven'. This was the purpose of Creation, and I asked the Father that it be fulfilled. As I prayed, the Father surrendered to my supplications, and I formed the seed of a good so great; and so that this seed might be known, I taught my prayer to the Apostles, and they transmitted it to the whole Church, so that, just as the people of the future Redeemer found salvation in Him and disposed itself to receive the promised Messiah, in the same way, with this seed formed by Me, the Church might pray and repeat my very prayer many times, and might dispose Herself to receive the good of recognizing and loving my Celestial Father as their Father, in such a way as to deserve to be loved as children and receive the great good that my Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven. In this seed and in this hope that my Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven, the very Saints have formed their sanctity …More
President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Maria Calvino Santamaria..Wikimedia Commons, Aurore Martignoni / European Union, CC-BY-4.0 The European Union and several development finance institutions have signed a new fund designed to channel up to €20 billion in private capital into sustainable infrastructure in low- and middle-income countries. The announcement that comes as confidence among European households has fallen to its lowest point in more than three years. The instrument, framed within the Global Green Bond Initiative, was agreed today in Brussels. It will direct financing towards climate and environmental projects in economies that have limited access to international financial markets. According to the European Commission, the fund will invest exclusively in “green” bonds issued on primary markets, giving priority to “first-time issuers” — governments, local authorities and companies entering this type of financing for the first time. Day of the Most Holy Miracle of Santarém In the year 1247, a poor woman lived in Santarém whose husband greatly offended her, going astray with another woman. Tired of suffering, she went to ask a Jewish witch to end her misfortune with her spells. The witch promised her an effective remedy, but for that she needed a Consecrated Host. After much hesitation, the poor woman consented to the sacrilege. She went to the Church of Santo Estêvão, confessed, and asked for Communion. Once she had received the Sacred Particle, she carefully removed it from her mouth and wrapped it in her veil. She quickly left the church and headed for the witch’s house. However, without her noticing, blood began to drip from the veil. Several people saw it and asked the unfortunate woman what wounds she had that were bleeding so much. Extremely confused, she ran home and locked the Miraculous Host inside one of her chests. Later that day, in the afternoon, her husband returned. Deep in the night, both woke up …More
The Vatican has accepted the appeal filed by the Benedictine monks of the Valle de los Caídos against the Spanish government’s planned “re-signification” of the monument, according to Spanish media. The move is being seen as a setback for the pro-homosexual Cardinal José Cobo of Madrid, whom critics accuse of having capitulated to the government during negotiations. Cardinal Cobo has repeatedly said that the Archdiocese of Madrid has no authority over the basilica or the Benedictine community and that responsibility lies with the Vatican. The complex includes the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Benedictine monastery. The Sánchez government’s plans amount to the secularisation of an important Catholic religious sites. The government is expected to present in June the redevelopment project known as “La base y la cruz,” which will lay out the next stage of the redesign. This will coincide with the June visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain. #newsDrmmbzsumh

@chris griffin The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church has blessed and approved the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. I disagree it is "fair and just," "all Catholics should ignore Fatima." Our Lady of Fatima said "only I can help you." If we had done what Our Lady of Fatima asked there would be no abortion today plain and simple. I think your position in opposition to Our Lady of Fatima only continues the "Errors of Russia," and abortion is one of those "Errors." God bless you!
The Vatican altered the official Italian transcript of Pope Leo XIV’s 23 April flight remarks, removing the word "infamous". He had used it while discussing homosexual "blessings" in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and describing Pope Francis’ phrase tutti, tutti, tutti as infamous, famous, well known.
The Vatican is editing out Pope Leo XIV’s joke that Pope Francis’ “tutti, tutti, tutti”, is “infamous”
Padre Pio Saw the One Sin Disguised as a Virtue Padre Pio Saw the One Sin Disguised as a Virtue A respected Italian doctor traveled to San Giovanni Rotondo in 1947 to confess to Padre Pio. He had spent his life helping the sick, donating to the church, and living what everyone around him considered an exemplary Catholic life. He expected absolution in minutes. Instead Padre Pio refused him. Not once. Not twice. Three times over three consecutive days. What had Padre Pio detected in this man that no one else could see?
Star S. @DominguezH31015 SHOCKING: Mother Miriam Drops Truth Bombs on the Pope & Vatican! “False prophets” now have an official prayer room inside the Vatican Library — so Muslims can pray to their false god on sacred ground. Mother Miriam is speaking out with righteous fire: This is a grave scandal and betrayal of the Catholic Faith. How on earth do you allow this inside the heart of the Church?! Christ is King. The First Commandment still matters. You don’t honor the true Faith by giving equal space to falsehood. Wake up, Catholics. This interfaith “openness” is going too far. Who else is tired of watching the Vatican bend over backwards?
A brave & courageous Nun! ~ While you are at it Sr. Miriam please explain a little of the history of WHY the Vatican built those huge walls in the first place?
