Bishop Fellay Explains the Episcopal Ordinations in July

On Sunday, Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X spoke in his homily at the US seminary about his experiences of dealing with the Vatican and the upcoming episcopal ordinations on 1 July. Main points.
Survival, Not Schism
· The Fraternity proceeds to consecrate bishops even if Rome says 'no' - aware that accusations of "schism" and "excommunication" will follow.
· The Fraternity acts to survive: it has the right to preserve the faith and the sacraments.
Crisis in the Church: State of Emergency
· Such an act cannot be understood without acknowledging a major crisis in the Church, also described as a state of emergency or necessity.
· The Church’s mission is not ecological activism: “We are not here to save the trees, but the souls.”
· Blessings and sacramental access are being extended to those living objectively in sin, contrary to Christ’s teaching.
Recognition of Papal Authority - BUT
· The Fraternity fully recognizes the Pope as having supreme authority …More

Not "probably" Father Claver. Rome's end game was to string Abp. Lefebvre along promising consecrations, but kept moving the date, hoping that the good Abp. would die before it was done. St. Joseph Protector of the Church and Terror of Demons please guide and protect Bp(s.) Fellay, De Galerratta and Fr. Pagliarani as they work to bring about the restoration of the Catholic Church.

Father Karl A Claver

It has been said many times, and I will say it as well, if it wasn't for Archbishop Lefebvre there would probably be no TLM today.

WITH THE RATIONAL PREMISE THE FERNANDEZ-PAGLIARANI MEETING WOULD HAVE UNITY ON DOCTRINE ON THE CREEDS, COUNCILS AND CATECHISMS
Vatican Council II rational would take the Church back to pre-Vatican Council II, times.
Vatican Council II is divisive with the Irrational Premise since this False Premise produces alleged explicit exceptions for the dogma EENS.
The SSPX does not have a doctrinal superiority, since it is acknowledged now even among conservatives that the SSPX made a mistake in the interpretation of the Catechism of Pope Pius X.

With the Rational Premise, the Fernandez-Pagliarani meeting can be a breakthrough for Tradition. They both would have to affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), with no exceptions. There would also be unity on the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Pius IX. Vatican Council II, rational, would be in harmony with all the Catechisms.
The traditionalist–liberal division would end since the Council would no more be liberal.

‘The war is far from over for the 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza’ says Catholic priest | Aid to the Church in Need

A CATHOLIC priest in Gaza is pleading for the war to stop as the strip continues to sink into a deeper humanitarian and health crisis.
Gaza’s only Roman Catholic parish priest, Father Gabriel Romanelli, told Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) about the “very serious” situation caused by dire living conditions and ongoing violence.
Despite the ceasefire called on 10th October 2025, authorities in the Gaza Strip say more than 500 Palestinians have died since then.
Israel Defence Forces have defended military action saying it has been responding to Hamas violations or attacks.
This morning’s renewed strikes on Gaza (4th February 2026) have killed at least 20, most of them women and children, according to hospital officials.
Among the dead were five children, including a 5-month-old and a 10-day-old baby.
Speaking before today’s attacks, Fr Romanelli said: “The war is not over. Some bombing continues notably behind the Yellow Line. Houses have been destroyed, deaths and …

They may have a golden calf of "Trump Gaza" soon.

And to think that those in charge are making huge profits from the war. All done with the suffering and deaths of the poor people. Trump during the election said he could end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. He lied. He’s one of them.

"Thus, with regard to purgatory, when the soul leaves the body, and finds itself out of that state of purity in which it was created, seeing the hindrance, and that it can only be removed by purgatory, without a moment's hesitation it plunges therein : and were there no such means provided to remove the impediment, it would forthwith beget within itself a hell worse than purgatory, because by reason of this impediment it would see itself unable to reach God, its last end..."

LET us suppose that there existed in the world but one loaf of bread
to satisfy the hunger of every creature, and that the mere sight of it could do this. In such a case a man, having naturally, if in good health, a desire for food, would find himself, so long as he was kept from dying or falling sick, getting more and more hungry; for his craving would continue undiminished, he would know that the bread, and nothing but the bread, could satisfy him, and not being able to reach it, would remain in intolerable pain ; the nearer he got to the bread without seeing it the more ardently would he crave for it, and would direct himself wholly towards it, as being the only thing which could afford relief ; and if he were assured that he never could …More

Archbishop Scicluna Disseminates LGBT Pastoral Letter

Msgr. Charles J. Scicluna, secretary of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, has recently published a pastoral text centered on the spiritual accompaniment of people whom he identifies under the acronym LGBT. The article , which reflects on God’s loving presence in everyday life and has been widely disseminated on social media by Fr. James Martin, highlights the ambiguity with which many ecclesiastical leaders have been addressing this topic from perspectives alien to Christian anthropology and the constant teaching of the Church.
It is deeply concerning that a Secretary of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith—an institution charged with safeguarding the integrity of the revealed deposit—adopts and disseminates a flawed conceptual framework for thinking about the relationship between the person, the Church, and God. We are not faced with a mere problem of pastoral language or spiritual emphasis, but with theological presuppositions that gravely condition the understanding …

Leo XIV: “St Peter’s Basilica is a sacred place, a temple of contemplation and recollection.” Cardinal Gambetti’s ears must have been burning.

Vatican City - This morning, Sunday 8 February 2026, Pope Leo XIV received, in the Apostolic Palace in the Clementine Hall, the management and staff of the Floreria and the Building Office of the Vatican City State, together with their families, shortly before the Angelus in St Peter’s Square.
It is part of a cycle of audiences the Holy Father is devoting to his collaborators, men and women who, often far from the spotlight, ensure the day-to-day running of this State and support the ministry of the Successor of Peter. Last Sunday Leo XIV met the Gentlemen of His Holiness, the Antechamber Assistants and the Papal Chair-bearers. This morning the Pope first sought to set out the concrete meaning of their work within the ordinary rhythm of life in this small State, the care of spaces and services that, for millions of faithful, become an experience of Church. In his greeting he thanked them for the dedication shown, with an explicit reference to the Jubilee Year that has …

St Peter’s Basilica, a place of prayer
The Pope referred to two symbolic places, and one cannot pretend not to notice his words: “In particular, St Peter’s Basilica is a sacred place that must be safeguarded first and foremost as a temple of contemplation, recollection and spiritual wonder.” It is a line that will have made Cardinal Mauro Gambetti’s ears ring, given that in recent years he has imposed events, aperitifs, dinners, media tours and now yet another act of disfigurement, work on the dome to expand the bar. Leo XIV put it plainly: St Peter’s is a sacred place and must be guarded as a temple of contemplation and recollection. And so, looking at what continues to happen inside the Basilica, mobbing of employees, threats and retaliation, profanations and acts of vandalism, it is necessary that, before long, the appointment be made of another Archpriest of the Basilica and Vicar General for the Vatican City State. Gambetti was appointed by Pope Francis on 20 …More

The document in question is now, necessarily due to its alleged release by the DOJ, a matter of public record. Absent verifiable citation of the actual public document, I'm calling 100% BS. If this is legitimate, and was in the hands of the Biden administration, would it only become public now?
I'm not trying to defend Trump, I'm encouraging objective scrutiny.

“Covid-19,” PsyOps and Technocracy: An overview of Chapter 2
In this chapter, David A. Hughes discusses the origins and history of exploiting shock and stress for social control purposes, beginning during World War I with the Tavistock Institute.
He then discusses programmes such as CIA’s MKULTRA, which used mind control, psychotropic drugs and psychological manipulation to control and neutralise resistance, and other mind control initiatives which used techniques to reprogramme behaviour, often using traumatic experiences to induce a state of shock and paralysis.
All these trauma-based mind control techniques fed into the psychological operations deployed during the covid era to shock and terrorise populations into submission.

‘Wintering’ the Catholic Way

What the saints have shown us ...
Online searches at this time of year turn up books and stories about wintering, that is, resting in the winter months, referencing phrases like the permission to pause and power of rest.
God, of course,
commands us to rest.
The saints know how to live well in the seasons God gives us, including wintertime.
There is indeed something so restful about being inside a warm home on a cold day.
Did you know St. Thérèse loved snow? As she recalls in her autobiography:
The time for my reception of the Habit had arrived. ... The wait had been long, but what a beautiful celebration it was! Nothing was missing, not even the snow. I don’t know if I’ve already told you how much I love snow? When I was small, its whiteness filled me with delight, and one of the greatest pleasures I had was taking a walk under the light snowflakes. Where did this love of snow come from? Perhaps it was because I was a little winter flower, and the first adornment with which my eyes …

Breakaway Poor Clare Nuns Look for a New Convent in Spain

A group of Poor Clare nuns from Belorado in northern Spain have launched a public campaign, Queremos un convento (‘We want a convent’), to find a new home as they face eviction from their monastery in the coming weeks.
The split began in May 2024 when 16 sisters aligned themselves with sedevacantist clergy, prompting the Archdiocese of Burgos to declare their excommunication.
After a turbulent period marked by associations with controversial sedevacantist bishops, financial difficulties, and legal and health controversies, the sisters sought independence. They have continued to support themselves through chocolate-making and small business ventures, even opening a cloistered restaurant in Asturias.
In late 2025, they launched a website appealing to the public for help in finding a permanent home where they can continue their religious life.
While reactions have been mixed, the sisters hope that unused convents in depopulated areas of Spain might offer them a “dignified way out” of …More

Kemi Badenoch savages Keir Starmer over McSweeney resignation, jeering 'once again it's somebody else's fault'

Published: 16:05 GMT, 8 February 2026 | Updated: 16:54 GMT, 8 February 2026
Kemi Badenoch utterly eviscerated Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer over the resignation of his chief of staff Morgan McSweeney following the Peter Mandelson scandal.
Mr McSweeney, who has been one of Sir Keir's closest aides for nearly six years, resigned today after pushing for the appointment of Lord Mandelson as Britain's ambassador to the US.
In a statement, Mr McSweeney admitted that naming the disgraced peer as Britain's top diplomat in Washington DC was 'wrong'.
He said he was taking 'full responsibility' for advising the Prime Minister to do so, adding: 'In the circumstances, the only honourable course is to step aside.'
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch accused Sir Keir of trying to shift the blame for Lord Mandelson's appointment onto Mr McSweeney.
'It's about time. Once again with this PM it's somebody else's fault: "Mandelson lied to me" or "Morgan advised me",' she said.
'Keir Starmer has to take responsibility …

The Remnant: France’s Forgotten Concentration Camp: The Martyred Priests of Île-Madame

For an intimate tie exists binding Catholics to those priests who died in witness to the spiritual independence of Christ’s kingdom on earth. If we can attend the Mass of Ages, it is due in no small part to the valiant efforts and rapid organisation of some French clergy and laity after the Second Vatican Council. It is likewise indisputable that the heroes of the ecclesiastical Revolution, slandered and reduced to penury, saying Mass in forests and in basements, are the spiritual heirs of the martyrs of the French Revolution. Across the centuries we hear the clarion call: “If we are the most unfortunate of men, we are also the happiest of Christians.” It is our motto too
