In his interview with the Pillar, Fr. James Martin claims that an example of gay Catholics being “treated like dirt” is being asked to refrain from reception of the Holy Eucharist if they are sexually active. In reality, this teaching has its roots directly in St. Paul (1 Cor 11)

Fr. James Martin claims gays are "treated like dirt" when they're refused Communion, if they are sexually active. He called out priests who follow Catholic teaching by not receiving the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin.

Pope Leo XIV’s older brother, Louis Prevost, discussed the pontiff’s reported lung cancer and shares an update on his condition following surgery. He said he spoke to the Pope before he went into the surgery but hasn’t spoken to him directly following the news of his diagnosis: “It was quite a shock especially from my younger brother, my youngest brother because I’m undergoing cancer treatment myself..to hear that he had that nodule on his lung it was kind of nerve-wracking, shaky…but speaking to him, you know that’s when he told me..well I said, was it life-threatening, 'no', does it seem serious, 'no, they think it's early enough it's small it should be relatively easy surgery'…so we were all in high-hopes and high spirits hoping for the best.

Card Roche: Leo “is not going to change Traditionis Custodes. He is not going to go back to Summorum Pontificum.

Cardinal Roche: a considerable gap between his claims and the documented facts.
Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, gave AdVaticanum.com an interview on October 13 containing factual errors, questionable assertions and what critics might describe as gaslighting.
The world’s bishops wanted restrictions on the Latin Mass
Cardinal Roche has “no doubt” that the world's bishops wanted to change Summorum Pontificum and restrict the Traditional Latin Mass, adding that “the bishops were very concerned about the situation.”
Reality check: The majority of bishops responding to the Vatican's 2020 questionnaire stated that changing Summorum Pontificum would cause more harm than good.
Benedict XVI issued ‘Summorum Pontificum’ for the FSSPX
Cardinal Roche claims that Summorum Pontificum was created to accommodate the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX).

Because the Pope is not going back, many Catholics will either leave the Church or go underground where they can attend a TLM.

Yesterday 142 years ago. On October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII reportedly experienced a supernatural vision in which he overheard Satan tell God he could destroy the Catholic Church if given 75 to 100 years and greater power over those who serve him, to which God allegedly granted the time and power.
The St. Michael prayer was written by Pope Leo XIII in 1898, and it was written after the pontiff experienced a vision of demonic nature during Mass. Pope Leo XIII is also frequently referred to as “the Rosary Pope,” and attributed for spreading the devotion of the rosary. We can pray this confidently in the face of evil, remembering Jesus’ own words, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)

Leo XIV’s Amoris Laetitia meeting: “Families that fall short of the ideal of marriage can manifest Christian virtues”.
Today, Véronique Lonchamp addressed the Vatican meeting marking ten years of Amoris Laetitia. She is responsible for family ministry at the French Bishops’ Conference.
She said that attitudes such as fidelity [!] and mercy can be manifested in any family seeking to live the Gospel, even when “its situation does not fully correspond to the Christian ideal of marriage.”
Lonchamp also listed “pastoral” initiatives that have emerged in France over the past decade under the influence of Amoris Laetitia.
Her list included: “The contribution of couples to the development of diocesan guidelines for accompanying separated or divorced persons or those who have entered a new union.”
Lonchamp did not specify which dioceses were involved or what the guidelines contain.

Archbishop told Pope Leo's Vatican meeting on Amoris Laetitia that sexual morality is just an "ideal" to strive for. He called for a shift in the Church’s culture, despite unchanging Catholic teaching on chastity and marriage.

Cardinal notes “changing understandings of gender,” says Church must discern how to change.
At Leo XIV's meeting marking ten years of Amoris Laetitia on October 8, Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão delivered a speech on the challenges facing families in Asia. He is the President of the Conference of Bishops of India.
Discussing changes in the “identity, nature and composition of the family,” the cardinal observed that “new forms of partnership and cohabitation are emerging, amid changing understandings of gender and relationships in urban settings.”
Reflecting on what the Church has learned from its pastoral work, Ferrão declared: “Pastoral work is itself a place of discernment. We don't arrive with ready-made answers. We discern together with families and, in doing so, we learn how the Church herself is being asked to change.”
In his conclusion, the cardinal stated that “there is no single stereotype of an ideal family” and asked, “What is the Holy Spirit asking the Church to change – not …More

Several bishops from the Amoris Laetitia summit ask to see "what is good" in cohabiting couples

Archbishop presents sexual morality as an “ideal” instead of “rules to follow” at current Vatican meeting.
At Leo XIV’s meeting marking the tenth anniversary of Amoris Laetitia, Archbishop Timothy Costelloe of Perth, Australia called for “a shift in the Church’s culture” in his October 9 address.
Discussing contemporary attitudes toward sexuality, he stated that “the concept of a necessary link between sexual activity and procreation, […] is no longer widely understood or accepted.”
Archbishop Costelloe advocated presenting the Church’s theology of marital intimacy as “an ideal worth striving for rather than as a list of rules and regulations to be followed.”
He repeated his point: “Presenting ideals to work towards rather than rules to follow is more likely to win people over and enable them to see the values which underpin those rules and regulations.”
Monsignor Costelloe stated that young couples living together before marriage are “falling short of the ideal of Chistian marriage,”…More

Here’s where we’ve arrived. In the presence of the Holy Father, during an event dedicated to the nefarious document *Amoris Laetitia* — of the now-deceased Argentine pope (though the disastrous effects of his pontificate still persist) — a nun suggests that Jesus’ initial approach toward the Samaritan woman was... a flirt. “A theory elaborated by one of my Dominican confreres.” The blasphemous nun, Sister Helen Alford, O.P., is the president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences.

At the Vatican’s Amoris Laetitia anniversary event, Sr. Helen Alford, O.P., approvingly presented a fellow Dominican’s “provocative” description of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman as beginning with a “flirt” — adding that “the ambiguity persists” before Christ confronts her with the truth.

Bishop Heiner Wilmer announces that he will bring to Rome the experience of same-sex couples

German Bishops’ Conference president Bishop Heiner Wilmer says he will bring the “experiences” of homosexual couples to Rome for the Vatican’s Amoris Laetitia summit.
Wilmer told katholisch.de that he prepared for the meeting, which begins tomorrow, by speaking with homosexuals and adulterers in a "second union".
Pope Leo XIV has stacked the meeting’s additional invitees with several pro-homosexual cardinals, including Jean-Claude Hollerich, Blase Cupich, Robert McElroy, Joseph Tobin, Víctor Manuel Fernández, José Cobo Cano and Luis Antonio Tagle.
Notably absent from Leo XIV’s 22 additional invitees are prominent critics of developments surrounding Amoris Laetitia, including Dubia Cardinal Raymond Burke and former Curia prefect Cardinal Gerhard Müller.

"Catholics today fall in two groups. There are those who think the Church is experiencing an unprecedented springtime and those who have actually looked at the statistics."

Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts of ’s-Hertogenbosch: “I do not have to spend very much time convincing this audience that there is a crisis. And indeed, if I were beginning by saying, ‘My dear friends, everything is going splendidly,’ I suspect that you would immediately check whether I have been replaced by an employee of the communications department of the Vatican. And perhaps this is already the first difficulty. Catholics today fall in two groups. There are those who think the Church is experiencing an unprecedented springtime and those who have actually looked at the statistics.”

Because statistics do not decide what is Catholic and what is not.
Otherwise, we could build our argumentation on the statistics from Mecca, for example (or contemporary popularity of JPII as the pop star in his times, if you prefer). It is the modernist point of view (vitality of the religion as the criterion of its genuity/truth) - just as St. Pius X condemned it in Pascendi (and as R. Prevost proclaimed it in Metz).
As I mentioned the key question here is really the “Catholic Identity”. Because, if the post-conciliar revolution belongs to the “Catholic Identity”, then "traditional Catholics" are, just as Tucho and his followers say, (at least materially) schismatics by rejecting it. If it does not belong, then neither do its adherents including but not limited to "conservative" post-conciliar bishops.
